Lunar Eclipse

This series of photos covers a period of about an hour. The whole event was much longer, as the full moon gradually went in to the Earth's shadow, and back out again. As it approaches totality the moon gets a distinctive red hue to it.

This was taken from the roof of our house in Bangalore.
